Kissling to run Jordi Oriola’s Opel in Singapore

Kissling Motorsport will run the Opel Astra TCR of Jordi Oriola in next weekend’s round of the TCR International Series the the Marina Bay circuit in Singapore.

Kissling Motorsport are also the developers of the new 2016 TCR specification Opel Astra, as well as the builders of the preceding car which was built to VLN regulations.

The car’s strong results in the Benelux and Germany national TCR series has seen an adjustment in the Astra’s Balance of Performance, with the car carrying 20kg extra on top of its base weight, putting it 10kg lighter than the SEAT León and Honda Civic, but 20kg over the Volkswagen Golf.

Oriola won’t be the only new entry in Singapore. Viper Niza Racing and Son Veng Racing will also join the fold, with the two TCR Asia series regulars warming up ahead of the final two rounds of their championship in Malaysia and Macau.

Malaysian Douglas Khoo will drive the Viper Niza SEAT León while China’s Wei Chao Yin will drive Son Veng Racing’s Volkswagen Golf.
