Robert Dahlgren fastest in first Knutstorp test as Richard Göransson has clutch failure

Robert Dahlgren was fastest in the first test of the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship season finale at Knutstorp as his team-mate and title rival Richard Göransson suffered a clutch failure.

Dahlgren lapped the circuit in 58.428 and was just below one tenth faster than Dacia Dealer Team driver Mattias Andersson in second place.

Göransson was unable to set a competitive lap time, with the Polestar Cyan Racing team now racing against time to change the clutch ahead of the next session.

SEAT team-mates Johan Kristoffersson and Daniel Haglöf occupied positions three and four, with Flash Engineering driver Linus Ohlsson fifth fastest, 0.745 seconds from the top.

Björn Wirdheim, currently holding third in the championship for which he is in a tough fight for with Kristoffersson and Haglöf was sixth fastest.
