Johan Kristoffersson and Robert Dahlgren share Karlskoga poles
Johan Kristoffersson claimed pole position in the first two STCC qualifying sessions on a wet Karlskoga track while championship leader Robert Dahlgren claimed the third and final pole in Q3.
The duo were really close in Q1, with the Kristoffersson Motorsport driver beating the PWR Racing driver by four hundredths of a second.
Kristoffersson’s team-mates Fredrik Ekblom and Fredrik Blomstedt claimed the positions behind them in third and fourth, although distanced by seven and nine tenths respectively due to the changing weather conditions.
Albin Wärnelöv of Lestrup Racing and Joonas Lappalainen of Kart In Club Driving Academy rounded off the top six, both over a second behind.
Q2 saw another dominating performance from Kristoffersson Motorsport with Kristoffersson heading team-mates Ekblom and Blomstedt.
The PWR Racing duo of Daniel Haglöf, fourth, and Robert Dahlgren, fifth, followed while Lappalainen once again was sixth.
The final Q3 session saw Dahlgren beating Ekblom by 0.107 seconds and Kristoffersson by a full 0.387 seconds.
Blomstedt and Haglöf rounded off the top five, 0.456 and 1.097 seconds behind respectively.
