Dennis Strandberg back at Lestrup Racing for Anderstorp

Dennis Strandberg is back at Lestrup Racing for the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship races at Anderstorp this weekend.

”It’s great to be back and I am more ready than ever. We found a lot of things with the car in Falkenberg and I know the team has found even more since then, so this weekend feels really exciting,” said Strandberg.

Strandberg was replaced by Robin Fredriksson behind the wheel of the team’s Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR at the previous round at Karlskoga due to financial difficulties. Fredriksson finished 11th twice and 13th once.

Strandberg is currently ninth in the drivers’ championship, despite missing Karlskoga, on 53 points, with Honda driver Mattias Andersson ahead of him in eighth on 72 points.
