Daniel Haglöf leads PWR Cupra top three in final Knutstorp test
Daniel Haglöf led a top three lockout for the PWR Racing team in testing at Knutstorp, leading team-mates Robert Dahlgren and Philip Morin in the 30-minute session, with Haglöf and Dahlgren separated by just 0.082 seconds
Reigning champion Dahlgren was the first driver to break the one minute barrier just before the first ten minutes, putting his Cupra TCR fastest with a time of 59.941.
Haglöf then responded, going faster still in his Cupra to go quickest with a time of 59.767 to lead the session, while Test 1 pace-setter Philip Morin was third fastest in his Cupra.
Johan Kristoffersson was best-of-the-rest in his Kristoffersson Motorsport Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR, almost half a second back.
Andreas Wernersson in his Lestrup Racing Team Volkswagen made a late improvement to go fifth, while WestCoast Racing’s Fredrik Ekblom was sixth fastest.
Hugo Nerman was the best-placed of the junior class runners in seventh in his Kristoffersson Motorsport Volkswagen, with Andreas Ahlberg the last driver within a second in his Micke Kågered Racing Volkswagen Golf.
Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky was ninth in her PWR Cupra TCR, with Oliver Söderström completing the top ten in his Lestrup Volkswagen.
Qualifying is next and takes place at 16:30 CET.
