Reduced success ballast ahead of Anderstorp

The Scandinavian Touring Car Championship organisation has reduced the success ballast ahead of this weekend’s races at Anderstorp.

The weights for the two best scoring drivers from the previous round have been reduced by ten and five kilos respectively, going from 30kg to 20kg for the best scoring driver and from 20kg to 15kg for the second best scoring driver.

The weight third best scoring driver will remain at 10kg.

The changes mean that championship leader Daniel Haglöf will carry 20kg extra at Anderstorp, his PWR Racing team-mate Robert Dahlgren will carry 15kg and Volkswagen driver Andreas Wernersson will carry 10kg.

The STCC weekend at Anderstorp starts on Saturday this weekend with practice and qualifying.
