Honda drop to minimum weight for Falkenberg

The Honda Civic Type R FK2 TCR will be the lightest car on the grid this weekend at Falkenberg after the latest compensation weight calculations by the STCC.

Based on the performance of the most recent rounds, the Civic, of which there’s just one car entered in the championship by MA:GP under the Honda Racing Sweden banner for Mattias Andersson, will be ballast-free, a drop of 30kg since the last round at Anderstorp.

The compensation weight of the other three brands on the grid are unchanged, with the championship leading Cupra TCRs running on maximum ballast of 60kg, the Volkswagen Golf GTI TCRs on 50kg, and the three Audi RS 3 LMSs on 30kg.

In addition to compensation weight, the top three points scoring drivers from the last round at Anderstorp will also carry weight, with points leader Robert Dahlgren carrying 20kg on his Cupra TCR, Philip Morin running with 15kg in his PWR Racing Cupra TCR, and KMS’s Johan Kristoffersson carrying 10kg of ballast.

The TCR Balance of Performance levels are unchanged since the last round for the cars which are entered in the STCC.
