Nicola Baldan suffers minor injuries in huge Imola qualifying crash

Nicola Baldan has posted a picture on his social media, showing he is relatively OK despite his horrible qualifying shunt, which has ruled him out of the Imola weekend.

The Pit Lane Competizioni driver did not disclose which kind of issue he has after the crash, but it is rumoured he could have a broken clavicle. The Veneto-based driver said he is “relatively fine, nothing I can’t fix in about a month.”

Baldan also revealed that his car has significant damage and praised the work done by Hyundai in terms of safety, as the car protected him perfectly. Although he did not confirm his presence at the next TCR Italy round at Vallelunga on September, 14th, TouringCarTimes understands Baldan should take part in it.
