Six round calendar revealed for first TCR Denmark campaign

The calendar for the inaugural TCR Denmark series season has been released, featuring a minimum of six rounds.

The calendar features a mixture of permanent and street circuits, with the possibility that a seventh event could still be added to the schedule.

The campaign will begin at Jyllandsringen in April and will run through to October when the season finale takes place at Padborg Park.

An appearance on the streets of Aarhus during the eleventh running of the Classic Race Aarhus event is set to be a highlight of the campaign in mid-May.

“TCR has proven itself on an international basis being a series that works really well on street circuits as well as permanent circuits,” series CEO Martin Jensen said.

“I’m looking forward to put on a great show like we have seen in international TCR events in Vila Real and Macau. I can only say that I can’t wait!

“The cornerstone of the entire TCR format is to make sure we have an attractive race calendar that can attract the fans. We are very happy with the calendar we are presenting publicly today.

“It is so important for us to state that TCR first of all is here for the fans – and we will do our best to let everyone come and see all the action up close.”
