Kasper H. Jensen dominates first practice at Jyllandsringen opener

Kasper H. Jensen picked up on his strong form from the pre-season testing to dominate the first practice session of the TCR Denmark season opener at Jyllandsringen.

The Massive Motorsport driver was close to nine tenths of a second faster than his closest rival in the form of ex F1 driver Jan Magnussen, beating the Volkswagen driver by 0.873 seconds.

Nicolai Sylvest was third fastest, just 0.024 seconds behind his LM Racing team-mate.

Massive Motorsport driver Kenn Bach made it two Hondas in the top five with Insight Racing’s Jacob Mathiassen in fifth position behind the wheel of his Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR, 1.46 seconds from Jensen’s time.

Martin Andersen put his Hyundai i30 N TCR in sixth position ahead of Cupra driver Kim Lund in seventh position. Markussen Racing driver Michael Markussen rounded off the top eight as the fatest Peugeot driver, a full 1.888 seconds from the top time.
