Copenhagen date completes TCR Denmark schedule

The second season of TCR Denmark will feature seven events after a meeting as part of the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix was confirmed.

The street circuit had been due to feature on the 2020 calendar before the coronavirus pandemic saw the event cancelled, whilst the race meeting wasn’t part of the provisional 2021 calendar published last week.

However, the Copenhagen event has now been slotted in as round three of the season in early August to complete the calendar.

“We are really happy with the calendar that we’ve been able to put together for 2021, and we can’t wait to show the best of Danish motorsport around the country next year,” series promoter Martin Jensen said.

“TCR Denmark has shown its worth as a concept and series, and from what we have managed to achieve in a year as tough as 2020, I’m convinced we can make even better for 2021.”
