Balance of Performance confirmed for new Audi and Hyundai models

The Balance of Performance values for the new Audi RS 3 LMS and the Hyundai Elantra N TCR have been confirmed by the technical department of the WSC Group, the rights holder of TCR.

The new Audi will run with 40kg of ballast, a ride height of 80mm and a minimum racing weight of 1305kg.

The new Hyundai will run 0kg of ballast, 80mm ride height and a minimum racing weight of 1265kg.

Both cars will run on a 100% power level, while the older Hyundai i30 N TCR model will remain on 97,5%.

There has also been several other changes to existing TCR models:

Audi RS 3 LMS SEQ (2016): +10kg (previously -10kg) and 70mm ride height (prev. 60mm)
CUPRA TCR SEQ: +0kg (prev. -10kg) and 70mm ride height (prev. 60mm)
Honda Civic Type-R FK2 TCR: -20kg (prev. +0kg)
Honda Civic Type-R FK7 TCR: +30kg (prev. +40kg)
Opel Astra TCR: +0kg (prev. +10kg)
Peugeot 308 TCR: -30kg (prev. -10kg)
Renault Mégane RS TCR: -20kg (prev. -10kg)
Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR DSG: -10 kg (prev. +0kg)
Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR SEQ: 60mm ride height (prev. 70mm)
