TCR South America announces Dunlop as tyre supplier

TCR South America has announced Dunlop as the official tyre supplier for its inaugural season and 2022.

“We are very proud that our company was able to sign such an important agreement with a prestigious international brand like Dunlop. The fact of counting on tyres that are produced in Japan will surely raise the level of our championship. We are looking forward to the beginning of the season to start working together,” said TCR South America director Federico Punteri.

The TCR South America season starts on June 26-27 for a total of eight race weekends in Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile.

“We are delighted to be part of this project and we hope we will give our contribution in enhancing the level of the championship. This is a terrific challenge, because it implies to transport our tyres and the associated services to different countries, but we are confident that our company will be up to the task,” said Sumitomo Rubber Latin America senior manager Cristian Segovia.
