Nicolai Sylvest claims Jyllandsringen pole position

LM Racing driver Nicolai Sylvest claimed the TCR Denmark pole position at Jyllandsringen, beating reigning champion Kasper Jensen by half a second.

Alfa Romeo driver Jacob Mathiassen was third fastest, 0.127 seconds behind Jensen.

Brian Madsen Sport driver Casper Elgaard claimed fourth spot on the grid behind the wheel of his Peugeot 308TCR, eight tenths behind, with Rene Povlsen in fifth.

Michael Markussen was sixth fastest ahead of Philip Lindberg, while Massive Motorsport driver Kenn Bach rounded off the top eight.

Former points leader Jan Magnussen is missing from the Jyllandsringen round as he is racing in the Le Mans 24 hour race this weekend.

The first race of the weekend starts at 12.05 CEST.
