Kasper Jensen, Casper Elgaard and Gustav Birch joins GMB Motorsport for 2022

Newly crowned double TCR Denmark champion Kasper Jensen, Casper Elgaard and Gustav Birch have joined the newly formed team GMB Motorsport for the 2022 season.

“I am very much looking forward to begin this new collaboration with GMB Motorsport. I like their goals and approach. Now I have the opportunity to drive both in TCR at home and GT3 abroad with Gustav and Casper, which is great!” said Jensen.

Jensen has raced for Massive Motorsport during the past two season, clinching back-to-back titles.

Elgaard and Birch raced Peugeots for Brian Madsen Motorsport this season, finishing fifth and ninth overall respectively.

“I’m pleased and proud to have the opportunity to be part of GMB Motorsport,” said Elgaard, who will also act as team manager.

“It has always been my dream to lead a team with a strong focus on talent development. At GMB Motorsport it will be possible to go all the way from karting to the Le Mans 24 hours, and I dream that one day we will have a Le Mans team where all the drivers have gone all the way through our talent development programme.”

The team is yet to disclose which brand of cars it will run next year.
