Meteor Racing switches from Volkswagen to Audi

Meteor Racing has taken delivery of two new generation Audi RS 3 LMS race cars ahead of the 2022 TCR Denmark season.

“We have got a fantastic first-hand impression, and I speak on behalf of the whole team by saying that we are very excited,” said Allan Kristensen, driver and team owner.

“The Audi staff told us a bit of everything today about the new cars, and there is a good amount of knowledge about setting them up, which I think we can benefit from in the new season.”

The team fielded two Volkswagen Golf GTI TCRs this season for Kristensen and René Povlsen, finishing 12th and seventh respectively.

“It will be a steep learning curve with the new cars, but we are sure we can transfer some of it to Danish conditions,” said Kristensen.
