MM Motorsport renews contract with Marco Iannotta

Marco Iannotta will be back in the 2022 TCR Italy season with MM Motorsport, driving the same Honda Civic Type R TCR as last year.

“I’m really happy to be able to defend the colors of the team again with my Civic,” said Iannotta.

“The team was wonderful last year, they followed me step by step and together we achieved excellent results despite my very limited experience with them and the cars.”

Iannotta joined the team for the last two rounds at Imola and Mugello, scoring a seventh place in the second Imola race as his best result.

“This will be an important and busy season for us,” said Emanuele Alborghetti, MM Motorsport owner.

“We are delighted to have renewed our agreement with Marco, he was the first MM Driving Academy driver to hit the track and he made us proud right from the start, bringing home excellent results. I’m sure that this year we will be able to achieve excellent results together.”

The team has stated it will announce its second driver “in the coming weeks”.
