Pedro Aizza and Gabriel Lusquiños handed post-race penalties

Pedro Aizza and Gabriel Lusquiños were handed post-race penalties following the second TCR South America race at Velocitta in Brazil.

Aizza had finished fifth behind the wheel of his Hyundai but was given a 20-second penalty for overtaking during the safety car period.

Lusquiños had finished sixth for Crown Racing but was also given a 20-second penalty, although for a false restart.

The penalties dropped the duo to ninth and tenth position respectively, promoting Peugeot driver Franco Farina to fifth and Audi driver Adalberto Baptista to sixth.
