Marius Solberg Hansen joins 2023 TCR Denmark season

2022 TCR Scandinavia independent champion Marius Solberg Hansen will join TCR Denmark for the 2023 season with his family-run team MSH Motorsport.

“TCR Denmark is new to me, and there will definitely be a lot to learn – I’m looking forward to that. We talked for a long time about how I could take the next step in my career. TCR Denmark offers a good combination of a large field and good competition, which I would like to be a part of,” said Solberg Hansen.

The Norwegian will switch his Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR of last year to one of Lestrup Racing Team’s Audi RS 3 LMS II for 2023, a car he has performed one test day with so far.

“Of course, I know most about the Swedish tracks, but it will be exciting and a good challenge to throw myself at the Danish ones,” said Solberg Hansen.

“It will be a fun task, and I am very much looking forward to driving a lot more in our Audi R S3 LMS. We have run a single test in the autumn, but more will soon be needed.”
