Green Development announces expanded TCR Denmark programme

The Green Development team has announced that it will expand to run a two-car programme in the 2023 TCR Denmark series.

The team has retained the services of Nicolai Sylvest – who finished third in the standings last season – and will add Lars Højris at the wheel of a second CUPRA León Competición TCR.

Højris finished twelfth in the standings last season, and was fourth in the Trofeo championship for drivers aged over 40.

“My goal for the coming season is to win the Trofeo title and advance in the overall championship,” he said, “and then of course I have to help drive good points towards the team championship.

“I think those goals are absolutely possible to achieve together with Team Green Development. I want to be able to draw on the team’s extensive experience as well as compare and analyse data with Nicolai Sylvest, who has also promised to coach me – something I’m really looking forward to.”

Sylvest himself said he was excited about returning for a championship challenge.

“Together we can fulfil the team’s and our joint ambitions for Team Green Development to win the overall championship and the Trofeo title in 2023,” he said. “At the same time, we would like to thank all our sponsors, all our partners and our fantastic team for making the 2023 season a possibility!”
