Marius Solberg Hansen forced out of remaining season after Copenhagen crash

Marius Solberg Hansen will miss this weekend’s TCR Denmark races at Jyllandsringen, as well as the remaining part of the season, due to his heavy crash during the Copenhagen street race.

The Norwegian driver clipped the wall in the final race at turn five and was collected by Auto Lounge Racing team-mate and team owner Christian Skaar.

“It does unfortunately not look good at all, with a lot of damage and I don’t think we can get the car back together this season,” said Solberg Hansen on his social channels.

“Considering the costs and budget, it looks like we can’t race in TCR Denmark any more this season. We need to try and get the car back together during the winter and we are still motivated.”

Auto Lounge Racing will field three cars this weekend for Skaar, Kevin Engman and Jan Magnussen.
