Jordan Cox penalised for Race 2 incident with Yann Ehrlacher
Jordan Cox has been handed a grid penalty for his incident with Yann Ehrlacher in the second TCR World Tour and TCR Australia race at Sydney Motorsport Park.
The two came together into Turn 2, resulting in a spectacular spin for Cyan Racing driver Ehrlacher who was then forced to pit for a tyre change.
Garry Rogers Motorsport driver Cox was able to continue the race after the incident, finishing in 14th place while Ehrlacher recovered to finish ninth.
Cox will be dropped three places for Race 3, starting from 16th position.
There are two further incidents which will be investigated after Race 3, including one between Rob Huff and Ehrlacher and one between Thed Björk and Norbert Michelisz.
