Philip Lindberg confirms continued TCR Denmark programme

Philip Lindberg will continue racing in the TCR Denmark series next year with his own team PL Racing, driving a Honda Civic Type R FL5 TCR.

“The team will be the same as last year and we still have a collaboration with Honda and will continue to drive in the new Honda Civic FL5,” said Lindberg.

“We don’t want to move things around too much, because now everyone in the team has learned their routines, and that kind of thing just takes time. Now we think we have a small, but serious and friendly team and we are all ready to fight for the championship.”

Lindberg finished ninth overall this season, with a victory in the Jyllandsringen season finale as his best result

“We have shown that we can be at the front, but we have had too many challenges, both technically and then a small driving error in Copenhagen, which cost a lot of damage to the car,” said Lindberg.

“Next year, we are going hard for a top three position in the championship and I believe we have the speed to do so.”
