Rodrigo Baptista returns to TCR South America with Squadra Martino

Rodrigo Baptista returns to TCR South America this year and will drive a Honda Civic Type R TCR for Squadra Martino.

The 27-year-old claimed the runner-up spot in the first season of TCR South America in 2021, claiming three victories for Cobra Racing Team.

“I am very happy to be back at TCR South America,” said Baptista.

“The championship has grown a lot and still has a lot to grow and that motivates me. This year I’m in a new team for me, plus the completely new car for me and some tracks I’ve never raced on. We will work and fight hard to achieve our goal of fighting for the championship in 2024.”

Baptista completes the four-car line-up of Squadra Martino alongside already confirmed team-mates Juan Manuel Casella, Fabio Casagrande and Enrique Maglione.
