Michael Markussen brings the new Cupra Leon VZ TCR to TCR Denmark

Michael Markussen will field the new Cupra León VZ TCR in the 2024 TCR Denmark season.

“This year we have to do better than last year, and we want to be on the podium as a minimum,” said Markussen.

The Dane finished sixth overall last year for his own team Markussen Motorsport, racing the previous generation CUPRA León Competición TCR

Markussen claimed one win and a total of five podium finishes in 2023.

“We will try to achieve this by moving around a little internally in the team,” said Markussen.

“This applies, for example, to Casper Elgaard, who we now bring full-time to the team, also on Sundays, which frees up some time and energy for me on race weekends.”
