Jacopo Cimenes joins FIA TCR World Tour opener and TCR Italy season

Jacopo Cimenes is going to join the FIA TCR World Tour opener at Vallelunga and then take part in full TCR Italy season for MM Motorsport.

The 18-year-old made his racing debut just two years ago in the Clio Cup Italia, finishing fourth last season.

Following his one-off FIA TCR World Tour appearance, he will continue driving his Honda Civic Type R FL5 TCR for MM Motorsport in the 2024 TCR Italy season.

“After two seasons in the Clio Cup, the natural step forward was TCR, and I couldn’t dream anything more than making my debut in the TCR World Tour! I’m over the moon, but I must have my feet on the ground. We need to work a lot to fill the gap we have compared to the international stars; it won’t be easy, but we can make an impression,” said Cimenes.
