FIA TCR World Tour to run shortened Marrakech circuit layout

The FIA TCR World Tour will race on a shorter version of the Moulay El Hassan circuit in Marrakech this weekend.

The Moroccan circuit made its touring car world debut in 2009 and held its most recent race in 2019 before the pandemic hit.

The 2019 race weekend featured the 2.971 kilometre layout which had been used from 2012-2019 while the 2024 race weekend will use a shorter version.

Only the first half of the circuit will be used, with the cars returning onto the start/finish straight after Turn 6, excluding the final half of the circuit with turns seven to 15.
