Eric Gené and Santiago Concepción joins Zolder grid

Eric Gené and Santiago Concepción will join the TCR Europe grid at Zolder this weekend with teams Monlau Motorsport and GOAT Racing.

Eric Gené, son to touring car ace Jordi Gené, will drive a Cupra León VZ TCR for Monlau Motorsport alongside team-mates Franco Girolami and Viktor Davidovski.

The Spaniard is racing in TCR Spain this season, currently placed ninth overall.

GOAT Racing will expand to four Hondas at Zolder as 20-year-old Spaniard Concepción, who won the TCR class of the 2021 Spanish Endurance Championship, joins regular drivers Felipe and Ruben Fernández and Dušan Borković.
