Malte Ebdrup claims first TCR Denmark pole of 2025

Malte Ebdrup beat Mascot Motorsport team-mate and reigning champion Kasper Jensen to the first TCR Denmark pole position of 2025 at Padborg Park.

The Honda duo was separated by just 0.080 seconds while last year’s runner-up Mike Halder claimed third for TPR Motorsport, three tenths of a second adrift.

Jacob Wunderov claimed fourth behind the wheel of his family team-prepared Honda Civic Type R FK7 TCR, more than seven tenths of a second from pole.

Mathias Dall was fifth fastest, just eight thousands of a second from Wunderow, while Halder’s team-mate René Povlsen was sixth, more than a second from Ebdrup.

Marco Dahl was seventh and last of the drivers with a lap time, while Magnus Dall failed to complete a lap and will line up in eighth and last position on the grid.

Hyundai driver Lars Højris was not present during the qualifying session.

The first race of the weekend starts at 11:00 CEST.
