Michal Bartoszuk inks MM Motorsport deal

Michal Bartoszuk will become the first driver from Poland to compete in TCR Italy this season after inking a deal to join MM Motorsport.

The 20-year-old will be making his car racing debut on the back of a successful career in karting, and will join forces with Jacopo Cimenes in a youthful line-up.

Bartoszuk will be at the wheel of a Honda Civic Type-R for his rookie campaign.

“I don’t know what to expect, as it will all be new,” he said. “It is a season of apprenticeship in which I want to learn, improve and hopefully surprise.

“I start with the pride in being the first Polish driver to start in TCR Italy, but I want to show the colours of my nation in one of the most competitive TCR series in Europe.”
