Un-Limited Motorsport reaffirms commitment to running three cars

British Touring Car Championship squad Un-Limited Motorsport has confirmed that it will field a new driver for the remainder of the 2025 season following the departure of Max Hall.

Hall announced that he had parted ways with the Independent squad yesterday, leaving a question mark around whether the team would slim down its operation to running just Dexter Patterson and Nicolas Hamilton.

The Kent-based team – who own three Cupra Leon’s – have now gone on record and stated that they will continue as a three-car outfit, with a number of candidates being assessed before the season reconvenes at Croft on August 2-3.

“We have made significant progress since joining the BTCC in 2024,” said Un-Limited Motorsport’s Bob Sharpless. We proved our professionalism and reliability in our first season – with the odd standout result – but the aim after just 15 BTCC race weekends was always to push further forward.

“So far this season, Dexter has taken a few Jack Sears Trophy wins and Independents’ podiums, whilst Nic continues to make great progress. By his own admission, Max and the team have worked extremely hard together, but we were unable to reach the goals that we wanted.

“We wish Max all the best for the future and look forward to making an exciting announcement on his replacement over the coming weeks, as we continue with Un-Limited Motorsport’s ongoing development.”
