FIA TCR World Tour announces three-year contract with Vila Real

The FIA TCR World Tour organisation has confirmed to TouringCarTimes that the championship will race for another three years on the streets of Vila Real.

This year marked the return of world touring cars to Vila Real for the first time since the FIA WTCR raced in the Portuguese city in 2022.

The new contract means that Vila Real will be a part of the FIA TCR World Tour until 2028 and that it becomes the first officially confirmed venue for the 2026 calendar which will remain similar to the current calendar.
