Aurélien Comte: “I’m very satisfied with the weekend”

SP Compètition driver Aurélien Comte performed another consistent weekend during the fourth round of the 2025 FIA TCR World Tour at Vila Real, with two fourth-place finishes in the races.

“I’m very satisfied with our weekend,” Comte told TouringCarTimes. “We scored good points, and that was our goal coming here.”

The Frenchman had to adapt to the unique characteristics of the Portuguese street track.

“The start of the weekend was a bit difficult because I have very little experience with street circuits,” said Comte.

“I thank the entire team for providing me with a car that I felt confident in and that allowed me to progress. The car works very well, and we didn’t encounter any problems.”

Comte heads to the summer break in seventh place in the championship standings, 103 points behind Lynk & Co Cyan Racing driver Yann Ehrlacher.
