Juan Manuel Casella to return in El Pinar

Juan Manuel Casella will make an unexpected return to the TCR South America grid in El Pinar after being drafted in by the W2 Pro GP team.

Casella finished second in the standings last season at the wheel of a Squadra Martino-run Honda Civic Type R before moving into the Superturismo Uruguayo championship.

The Uruguayan racer will get behind the wheel of the Cupra Leon VZ that was previously raced by Fabricio Pezzini and will line up alongside team regular Raphael Reis.

Casella is one of the most experienced drivers in series history, having made his TCR South America debut back in 2022.
