One Motorsport to miss BTCC rounds at Croft and Knockhill

One Motorsport have announced that they will miss next two rounds of the 2025 British Touring Car Championship season at Croft and Knockhill.

The Brackley-based team have cited the health issues of its team owner, Steve Dudman, for the reason as to why it will be absent from the upcoming race meetings in North Yorkshire and Scotland.

In a statement, the team said: “One Motorsport regrets to announce that it will miss the next two race weekends of the 2025 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship at Croft (2-3 August) and Knockhill (16-17 August).

“This decision has been made as a result of Team Owner Steve Dudman experiencing a number of ongoing health issues in recent weeks.

“With Steve rightfully focusing on his health and wellbeing, this has meant that he has been unable to run his large portfolio of businesses on a daily basis – all of which play a part in the day-to-day operation of One Motorsport.

“No fixed date has been confirmed for the team’s on-track return, but the hope is that both Honda Civic Type R machines will compete again later in the season.

“Everyone at One Motorsport extends their best wishes to Steve during this time and wish him a swift recovery.”

The Honda Civic Type R squad spent the 2024 campaign on the sidelines but returned this year with two-time Independent race winner Josh Cook and Stephen Jelley. So far Cook has led the team to a brace of podium finishes.
