Colin Turkington to replace Jake Hill for second BTCC practice
Colin Turkington will replace Jake Hill for the second British Touring Car Championship practice session of the day at Croft.
The four-time champion will take on driving duties in the #1 West Surrey Racing BMW 330i M Sport due to the reigning champion not feeling well enough to drive.
A decision on the remainder of the weekend will be made following Free Practice 2.
A statement by series organisers read: ” Due to Jake Hill feeling unwell, the Administrator has permitted Colin Turkington to drive that car in today’s second Free Practice Session. Colin will use Competitor Number 21.
“A further decision regarding the participation of the car in Official Qualifying will be taken after the second Free Practice Session.”
