Harry Bloor switches to CUPRA for remainder of 2025
Harry Bloor will switch over to a CUPRA Leon Competicion for the remainder of the TCR UK season after confirming a move to Vannin Motorsport.
Bloor joined the grid this season as part of the Junior Touring Car Driver Programme at the wheel of a Hyundai i30 being run by Power Maxed Racing, scoring a best finish of fifth at Croft.
However, Bloor’s car was amongst those lost in the fire that devastated Power Maxed’s headquarters last month, resulting in Bloor moving teams in order to continue his programme.
“I’m pleased to be able to go racing once more and to get back out on track for the final rounds of the 2025 season,” he said. “I’ll admit that there have been some tense moments recently where I wasn’t sure what would happen in the second half of the season,.
“I’m extremely grateful to Power Maxed Racing for all their guidance and support during the first half of the season. What they have been through is an awful experience, and I’m pleased to see that the motorsport community has rallied around to help get them back on their feet. I wish them all the best.
“I know there is a new learning curve to work through as I adjust to the CUPRA. There is also the challenge of working with a new team but they are already well-versed in the championship and the TCR concept, so I’m excited to see what I can do in the final stages of the season.”
