Delays in shipping set to change schedule for The Bend round

Reports are coming in that delays due to bad weather during shipping of the eleven FIA TCR World Tour cars for this weekend’s round at The Bend in Australia means that the schedule will likely be changed and shortened.

The latest information is that the cars will not arrive to the circuit until Friday and the original schedule had two practice sessions and qualifying planned for that day.

The event at The Bend is held together with the Supercars Championship and the official schedule has now been made unavailable on their website.

The schedule available yesterday (Monday) featured just two FIA TCR World Tour races instead of the originally planned three, a change which is likely to be announced shortly.
