Nick Halstead reveals fan livery for BTCC farewell
Nick Halstead has revealed the special fan livery that he will run in the final rounds of the British Touring Car Championship this weekend at Brands Hatch.
After more than 75 starts in the series dating back to 2021 when he made a one-off outing at Croft, Halstead will depart the series at the end of the campaign, which has seen him competing with the Power Maxed Racing team.
In order to celebrate his final race weekend, Halstead invited fans to submit their names to become part of the livery of the #50 Cupra, with the 2,500 slots being filled in less than 24 hours.
As well as appearing on track, the car will be available during the pitlane walkabout for people to see if they can spot their name.
“It has been a privilege to race in the BTCC and get to know so many of the fans, and receive just unbelievable support,” Halstead said.
“Hope you enjoy finding your name, I look forward to driving it around Brands Hatch.”
