Hyundai introduces new Elantra N EV TCR with larger turbo

Hyundai has introduced a new homologation of its Elantra model named the Elantra N EV TCR, featuring a larger turbo charger and increased power level.

The introduction comes in light of the issues the BRC Hyundai Squadra Corse team experienced during the first round in Mexico due to the high altitude of the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez circuit.

The new homologation of the Elantra has received an increase in power level compared to its predecessor from 97,5% to 100%.

The other balance of performance parameters are identical, meaning a minimum weight of 1275kg and 80mm of ride height.

The BRC Hyundai Squadra Corse team is running the new homologation during the FIA TCR World Tour round at Inje Speedium this weekend while the independent teams present at the race weekend, such as Solite Indigo Racing, are running the older homologation cars.
