TCR Australia could return for 2026

The TCR Australia series could return for the 2026 season with a new promoter according to Velocity Magazine.

The Australian series had seen declining entries over the past couple of seasons and recent changes in promoters.

The Australian Racing Group (ARG) promoted the series from 2019 to 2024, then handing it over to TCR Asia promoter Motorsport Asia for the 2025 season.

2025 saw just a handful of entries and a two-race calendar.

The new promoter is reported to be “an organisation with a long standing record of success in both business and motorsport”.
