TCR Europe moving towards capacity 2026 grid
Organisers of the TCR Europe series have revealed that 22 entries have already been lodged for the 2026 season, although no details have yet been confirmed as to which teams have signed up to compete.
Those teams that competed in 2025 were given the first opportunity to sign up for the new campaign with nine teams having registered a total of 22 cars so far, with two new teams having already joined a waiting list in place ahead of general registrations opening at the end of January.
It has already been revealed that the grid will be capped at 28 cars, leaving just six spots still available.
“I’m delighted with the position we’re in, just a few weeks after wrapping up our 2025 season with a terrific finale in Barcelona,” series promoter Rubén Fernández said.
“With almost a full grid already confirmed and a long winter break ahead before the season gets started at Mugello on March 20-22, we have plenty of time to work on putting together an incredible package for the new year in terms of broadcast and media coverage, expanding on what we delivered this year.”
