Chiappe and Simonov confirmed for SP Compétition in TCR Europe

Tom Chiappe and Mikhail Simonov is going to race a pair of Cupras for SP Compétition as the French team returns to TCR Europe in 2026.

Chiappe won the 2018 UIM F4 Powerboating World Championship and has claimed three SWS karting series titles.

“I’m really happy to announce I will participate in the TCR Europe series with SP Compétition with CUPRA,” said Chiappe.

“I’m really excited to compete this year and I can’t wait to be on track next weekend at Mugello.”

SP Compétition fought for the 2024 TCR Europe title with Aurélien Comte, who finished second overall, and fielded two Cupras in the FIA TCR World Tour last year where Comte finished seventh overall.
