Sandro Pelatti joins TCR Europe opener as wild card

Sandro Pelatti is going to join the TCR Europe season opener at Mugello this weekend for PMA Motorsport as a wild card entry.

“I am happy to join PMA Motorsport for the third year, I will do the races in Italy and to start the races at my home track is amazing,” said Pelatti.

The Italian is going to race a Cupra León VZ TCR alongside already confirmed regular drivers Nicolas Taylor and Nicola Baldan, who will race a pair of Audis.

Pelatti drove the final half of the TCR Europe season for the team last year, claiming two Diamond Best Trophy class victories.

“It’s great to have Sandro with us once again this season, he can do a really good job in the Diamond class. We will all do our best and can’t wait to start the season,” said a team representative.
