PMA Motorsport confirms Sandro Pelatti and Nicola Guida for TCR Italy
PMA Motorsport is going to field a pair of Cupra León VZ TCRs for Sandro Pelatti and Nicola Guida in the upcoming TCR Italy season.
“I’m very motivated for this new challenge,” said Pelatti.
“My seasonal goal is the same as always: to try to win the Masters classification. I don’t know how many opponents I’ll have yet, but I imagine it’ll be the usual, fierce club. I’d also like to score an overall podium.”
Pelatti finished 14th overall last year while Guida returns to the Italian championship, having last raced there in 2023 for Scuderia del Girasole, finishing 19th overall and fourth in the Masters’ standings.
“I’m very happy to be back in TCR Italy,” said Guida.
“The main goal is to have fun and enjoy the racing atmosphere again. I immediately felt comfortable with the Cupra, and the feeling was positive from the first laps. I just need to shake off some rust after a two-year absence from competition, considering I haven’t raced since October 2023.”
