Planet Motorsport confirms Babuin and Miotto

Planet Motorsport has confirmed the entry of two Audis in the 2026 TCR Italy season for drivers Denis Babuin and Francesco Miotto.

Team principal Babuin is going to drive a second generation Audi RS 3 LMS while Miotto is going to race a first generation Audi in the DSG class.

“We approach the new season with great enthusiasm and the will to keep on growing after the previous years,” said Babuin.

“After clinching the title in the Master Trophy, my goal is to be consistently competitive in the overall championship as well.

“I’m also pleased to welcome Miotto in the team; he’s a young driver who has already proved his value.”

Last year saw Babuin finishing eighth overall and first in the Master Trophy while the 22-year-old Miotto finished tenth overall in the DSG category.
