TCR Spain to join World Tour grid in Valencia

The TCR World Tour and TCR Spain will race together for the first time when the two series head for Valencia for the latest rounds of the season.

Although the two championships visited the Circuit Ricardo Tormo on the same weekend last year, the TCR World Tour and TCR Spain races were separate events rather than combined.

This time around, TCR Spain will run with the World Tour across all three races, although only the first and second races will count for points in the Spanish series.

Teams and drivers will then have the option to contest race three at their own discretion.

With the infield section of the circuit being used for drifting exhibitions, the races will run on the shorter 3.136km layout as opposed to the one previously used.
