Viktor Andersson joins SP Compétition in Vila Real

Viktor Andersson is going to race for SP Compétition in the FIA TCR World Tour round in Vila Real this weekend.

The Swede, who races for Monlau Motorsport in TCR Europe and TCR Spain, is going to drive a Cupra León VZ TCR alongside regular driver Aurelien Comte.

“I’m thrilled to be returning to Vila Real in the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour,” said Andersson.

“It was an event I really enjoyed last year and I’m very grateful to SP Compétition for giving me the opportunity to compete with them.

“The season has been both busy and successful so far, with me leading TCR Spain and being in the title fight in TCR Europe. I’m looking forward to carrying that momentum into the World Tour and giving it my all on this iconic circuit.”

Andersson took part in the FIA TCR World Tour rounds at Misano and Valencia for Monlau Motorsport earlier this year and is placed eighth overall.
