Néstor Girolami returns to Hyundai for Macau TCR World Tour finale
Néstor Girolami will return to BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse for the 2026 FIA TCR World Tour season finale in Macau, expanding the team’s line-up to three cars as it bids to secure both championship titles.
The Argentine will drive a third Hyundai alongside title contenders Mikel Azcona and Norbert Michelisz at the Guia Circuit.
Azcona heads into the finale with a 33-point advantage over team-mate Michelisz, while Geely Cyan Racing driver Santiago Urrutia is a further six points behind in third.
BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse is also in contention for the teams’ title, trailing the points leaders Geely Cyan Racing by 48 points ahead of the final event of the season.
Girolami previously raced for the Italian squad in 2024 and 2025, claiming four victories and finishing sixth in the drivers’ standings in both seasons.
His most recent TCR World Tour victory came at Macau last year, when he claimed pole position and won the opening race.
The 37-year-old has spent the 2026 season competing in TCR South America with Hyundai MSA, taking four victories in his first full campaign in the championship.
He currently holds second place in the standings with four two race weekends remaining.
