Philip Forsman confirmed at WestCoast Racing

Philip Forsman has been confirmed as the second driver at WestCoast Racing for the 2014 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship season.
”At last everything is set after a lot of hard work and I must thank WestCoast Racing and Lemontree for making this possible,” said Forsman.

The 26-year-old drove for the team in the 2013 STCC finale, with seventh as best result, and will drive a BMW alongside already confirmed Erik Jonsson this year.
”It feels exciting to have two young talents as Erik and Philip in one car each at us. We have realistic expectations for both of them and we will do everything in our power to give them the right conditions to develop as drivers with us,” said team manager Dick Jönsson Wigroth.

Forsman’s previous racing experience comes mainly from karting, but he has driven a lot of single seaters as well, including Formula Renault.
”I got taste for more after driving the finale last year and I know what to expect. The goal is to be competitive during the season and I look forward to the pre-season testing,” said Forsman.
